JAZZWA is primarily membership-based however the organisation strives to provide benefits not only for its members, but also for the wider community.
Community benefits include:
- Access to comprehensive information and news about jazz in WA
- Ability to create gig listings in the JAZZWA Gig Guide
- Access services such as Looking For a Jazz Band? which is designed to help the general public connect with jazz musicians and bands
- Option to join JAZZWA’s mailing list and become a Friend of JAZZWA
- Ability to create basic listing (name and contact/web link) in the WA Jazz Directory

STANDARD MEMBERSHIP OF JAZZWA
COST: $40.00 per year (GST not charged, does not include GST)
Standard membership of JAZZWA entitles one to all the benefits listed above, and additionally includes-
- Voting rights at JAZZWA General Meetings
- Subscription to the JAZZWA musicians mailing list which disseminates information regarding performance opportunities, grants, awards and other career development opportunities for musicians
- Discounted entry prices to selected JAZZWA and affiliated sponsor events
- Eligibility to participate in JAZZWA’s special projects
- Ability to create an expanded profile (featured listing with image and bio etc) in the WA Jazz Directory
BAND MEMBERSHIP OF JAZZWA
COST: The cost of band membership is $20 per band member (not counting those band members who are already Standard Members of JAZZWA). However, the total fee for any band membership is capped at a maximum of $160.00. To find out how much band membership for your band would cost, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Band membership of JAZZWA entitles the band leader to all the benefits of Standard Membership, and additionally includes-
- Eligibility for the band to participate in JAZZWA’s special projects
- Ability to create an expanded band profile (featured listing with image and bio etc) in the WA Jazz Directory
VENUE/ORGANISATION/PROMOTER MEMBERSHIP
COST: $80.00 per year (GST not charged, does not include GST)
- Ability to create an expanded profile in the WA Jazz Directory (with image and blurb etc)
- Automated feeds to JAZZWA’s Gig Guide (where possible)
- Voting rights (nominated representative – single voting right) at JAZZWA General Meetings
- Possibility to have a nominated representative on the JAZZWA committee
- Discounted advertising on the JAZZWA website via the Ad Banner (artwork to be supplied by member)
- Postings to JAZZWA’s mailing list for big events and up to 4 “featured” posts on JAZZWA’s website per year
